Orders received by FAX, e-mail or telephone will be accepted and initially processed pending receipt of confirming purchase order. Receipt of confirming purchase order is required within 15 working days or prior to component delivery, whichever is sooner.
Minimum order valueDue to costs associated with processing orders, TRM has a $500.00 minimum order value policy on the purchase of all standard items.
Terms of paymentAll invoices are due 30 days from date of invoice. Interest will be charged at a rate of 1.5% per month, thereafter. No discounts are authorized. A minimum of 3 trade references and bank information is required in order to establish an open account. If credit is not established, terms will be COD, CIA or wire transfer. Each shipment shall be considered a separate and independent transaction, and payment therefore shall be made accordingly. TRM accepts Mastercard and VISA.
PricesPrices for all products are subject to change without notice, and formal quotations are valid for a period of 30 days only. For this reason, it is best to confirm required prices at time of order placement. Prices quoted do not include cost for shipping, federal, state, or local excise taxes, export costs, special packaging or any compliance testing, unless specifically requested or identified.
Shipping termsUnless specified otherwise, all sales are considered to be made Ex-works Bedford, NH USA and title passes to the Buyer upon delivery to the carrier. Damage in Shipment is handled by the Buyer directly with the carrier. Shipments are made in accordance with Buyerís specific instruction regarding method and routing. If your order does not indicate a carrier, TRM will select one but cannot be held responsible for selecting the fastest or most economical method. Unless otherwise agreed upon at order placement, TRM reserves the right to make partial shipments payable in accordance with our standard terms. Shipment schedules are approximate and we assume no responsibility for delays beyond our control.
Change orders and cancellationsChange orders are considered to be in effect after both the Buyer and TRM have reached a mutual agreement as to the effect of the change on price, delivery, or other conditions of the order. Cancellation of an order can be made only with the written consent of TRM and upon such terms as will satisfy all costs incurred by TRM and its proportionate profit in work completed. TRM will stop work promptly upon receipt of your written cancellation intent.
Customer/government source inspectionShould source inspection be required, it must be so indicated at the time the request for quotation is made and associated charges reflected on the purchase order.
There is a fixed charge for source inspection on a per visit basis.
WarrantyTRM warrants products of its manufacture to be free from defects in material and workmanship under conditions of normal use. If, within TWO YEARS after delivery to the original owner and after prepaid return by the original owner, any TRM product is found to be defective, TRM shall, at its option, repair or replace said defective unit. This warranty does not apply to products which have been disassembled, subjected to misuse, improper installation, repair, alteration, neglect, accident, abnormal conditions of operations, or conditions exceeding the applicable specifications or ratings. TRM shall have the right of final determination of the cause and existence of any defect under this warranty. In addition, this warranty does not apply to transistors and diodes. TRM reserves the right to make design changes without notice on any of its products without any obligation to make the same or similar changes to units previously purchased. TRM liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement as aforesaid or, at the option of TRM, to refund the purchase price. In no event does TRM assume liability for installation labor or for incidental or consequential damages. (THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR OTHERWISE.)
Repairs and recalibrationRepairs of TRM products are made at the factory. Before returning any component, please contact the TRM Sales Department directly for the appropriate RMA number, shipping address, and instructions. When requesting an RMA number, please indicate the model number and serial number and as much information as possible about the reason for return. An estimate of the cost to repair will be submitted to the customer for approval before commencement of repair work. A standard evaluation charge of $250.00 is applicable to all out of warranty returns. Units must be returned with shipping prepaid and the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the package.
